一、教学目的与要求:
专业外语是环境科学与工程硕士研究生的专业学位课。该课程主要培养研究生熟练阅读英语写作的专业文献资料的能力,通过阅读掌握英语文章的写作技巧,并能对专业方面的知识进行简单的英语交流。
在环境科学与工程研究方面,发达国家有许多先进的理论和技术,值得我们学习、消化、创新。目前,该专业领域的主流期刊和一流研究成果都以英文编辑和报道。作为一名研究生,能够熟练阅读英文文献,并能通过阅读学会以英文写作专业研究成果,是非常重要的基本功。因此,该课程要求研究生通过学习掌握专业文献阅读能力、基础的专业研究成果写作能力和简单的口语表达能力。通过专业外语的学习跟踪世界科研最前沿,了解国外的最新动态,开阔研究生的科研视野,提高他们的科研能力和科研水平。
